Education

  • Civil electromechanical engineer
  • Graduate of CEDEP (European Center for Executive Development, Fontainebleau) 

 

Professional career

  • 2003: SUEZ Executive Vice-President in charge of SUEZ Energy International.
  • 2000: Leaves his role of General Manager for electricity generation at Electrabel to become CEO of Tractebel Electricity and Gas International and a member of Tractebel’s Management Committee.
  • 1990: Joins Electrabel's head office at the time of Electrabel’s creation and becomes a member of the Management Committee, as well as Chairman of the Board of Laborelec and Recybel, and Director of several companies, including Synatom, Belgonucléaire, Twinerg (Luxembourg), Rosen and Alpenergie (Italy), and Electrabel Nederland (Netherlands).
  • 1971-1991: Holds various management and control positions at the Baudour, Ruien, and Zwevegem power plants.
  • 1971: Integrates Intercom, one of the three companies that would form Electrabel.

  • 2007-2008: Chief Operating Officer of Gaz de France and Head of the Global Gas & LNG Business Line of Gaz de France.
  • 2004-2007: Executive Vice President of Gaz de France responsible for energy procurement, production and trading for the Group and for International development.
  • 2000-2004: Executive Vice President of Gaz de France.
  • 1995-2000: Head of the Strategy and Management Division of Gaz de France.
  • 1991-1995: Head of the Gas Supply Division of Gaz de France.
  • 1985: joined the Gas Supply Division of Gaz de France.
  • 1978-1985: Production and Transmission Division of Gaz de France.


Jean-Marie Dauger began his career in different positions at Péchiney, Trad Bank (Lebanon) and in the Finance Division of EDF.

  • 2000-2003: Director, Chief Financial Officer, responsable for financial operations, information systems, legal affairs, taxation and logistics of Ondeo Nalco (American subsidiary of SUEZ).
  • 1997-2000: Managing Director in charge of planning, control, and accounting for SUEZ and Secretary of the Investments Committee.
  • 1995-1997: Special Assistant to SUEZ Chairman Gérard Mestrallet and Secretary of the Management Committee.
  • 1992-1995: Consultant for Strategic Operations at Société Générale de Belgique.
