  • Civil electromechanical engineer
  • Graduate of CEDEP (European Center for Executive Development, Fontainebleau) 

 

Professional career

  • 2003: SUEZ Executive Vice-President in charge of SUEZ Energy International.
  • 2000: Leaves his role of General Manager for electricity generation at Electrabel to become CEO of Tractebel Electricity and Gas International and a member of Tractebel’s Management Committee.
  • 1990: Joins Electrabel's head office at the time of Electrabel’s creation and becomes a member of the Management Committee, as well as Chairman of the Board of Laborelec and Recybel, and Director of several companies, including Synatom, Belgonucléaire, Twinerg (Luxembourg), Rosen and Alpenergie (Italy), and Electrabel Nederland (Netherlands).
  • 1971-1991: Holds various management and control positions at the Baudour, Ruien, and Zwevegem power plants.
  • 1971: Integrates Intercom, one of the three companies that would form Electrabel.
