The Living Tomorrow program

In a global context of strong demographic growth and rapid urban development, habitat is a crucial issue. The GDF SUEZ Corporate Foundation participates in promoting eco-responsible urban development. It supports practical initiatives and is committed to preserving and enhancing our cultural heritage.

More than one out of every two people on this planet lives in a town. The rapid urbanization of the world is a major challenge for the 21st century because it requires the reconciliation of economic, social, cultural and environmental objectives.

Participation in the reflection and implementation of eco-responsible urban development for the planet lies at the heart of the societal responsibility of GDF SUEZ, to help provide answers to these strategic challenges.

Objectives of this program:

  • encourage global reflection on sustainable towns,
  • support social and cultural projects and eco-habitat initiatives,
  • contribute to the preservation and conservation of our heritage.
