Results of the commercialization procedure for GDF SUEZ in 2011 capacities released at the Fos Cavaou LNG terminal
As part of its commitments to the European Commission concerning the release of long-term regasification capacities at the Fos Cavaou LNG terminal, GDF SUEZ has made available two separate batches of 1 bcm/y each, starting for one on 2012/01/01 and for the other on 2016/01/01 and both ending no later than on 2030/03/31. Interested parties had until April 14th,2011 to qualify.
At this date, no qualification of participants having been received, the procedure has been closed.

GDF SUEZ will not be in the position to transfer 32 GWh/d on the Dunkirk entry point of the GRTgaz network as of 1 October 2010 and until 30 September 2026. In accordance with the commitments offered to the European Commission, GDF SUEZ will transfer an additionnal batch of 1 GM3 / year on the Montoir de Bretagne LNG terminal as of 1 October 2011 and until 31 December 2035. This second batch will be traded by Elengy simultaneously with the one transferred on the same terminal as of 1 October 2010 and until 31 December 2035 in the framework of the procedure presented by Elengy to the CRE.
Results of the commercialization procedure for GDF SUEZ in 2010 capacities released at the Fos Cavaou LNG terminal
As part of its commitments to the European Commission concerning the release of long-term regasification capacities at the Fos Cavaou LNG terminal, GDF SUEZ has made available two separate batches of 1 bcm/y each starting on 2011/01/01 and ending no later than twenty years after the commercial start of the terminal. Interested parties had until May 21st, 2010 to qualify and until May 28th, 2010 to submit an offer.
The first commercialization procedure is now closed. It led to the assignment of one batch of 1 bcm/year for five years (2011-2015) to a shipper.
The remaining capacity will again be offered to the market in 2011 at the latest and will follow the same procedure of commercialization as the one used so far and described in the memorandum of information (MI) posted on GDF SUEZ corporate website.
This procedure of commercialization puts an end to the first stage of the commitments offered by GDF SUEZ as regards the release of long-term access capacities to the French network demanded by the European Commission on various entry points with an effect as of 2010 or 2011.
