AMF

The Autorité des Marchés Financiers (the French financial markets authority) is an independent public agency that regulates and oversees the financial markets in France. It sees to it that the markets are transparent and function properly and that their regulations are observed. The AMF resulted from the merger of the Commission des Opérations de Bourse (COB), the Conseil des Marchés Financiers (CMF) and the Conseil de Discipline de la Gestion Financière (CDGF).
