Shareholders Advisory Committee

To make the relationship between the Group and its shareholders ever stronger, a shareholders advisory committee was set up in 2009. Composed of a panel of individual GDF SUEZ shareholders, it helps to better meet the expectations of individual shareholders in terms of communication.

From left to right, Paula Laermans, Jacques Martin, Blandine Godeau, Jacques Fray, Thomas Daguin, André Moeremans, Christiane Dubuis, Henri Deportes, Pierre Boucher, Anne-Doris Dupuy, Michel Beylot and Brigitte Roeser-Herlin (Shareholder Advisory Committee Chairwoman, Director for GDF SUEZ shareholder relations).
Absent Jean-Christophe Monfray.

A representative committee of Group shareholders

The Shareholders Advisory Committee is composed of:

  • 11 individual shareholders,
  • 1 GDF SUEZ employee shareholder.

The Committee meets in full session two to three times a year, according to an annual roadmap (in french, pdf - 35 KB). Work within the work groups continues remotely or at interim meetings.

Renewal of the Committee

One third of the composition of the Shareholders Advisory Committee changes every year. GDF SUEZ shareholders who would like to be part of the Advisory Committee may send their application (CV and covering letter) by mail or by email to actionnaires@gdfsuez.com.

Three work groups

The Committee members are divided into three work groups to cover all the communication media that are available to individual shareholders:

  • the Publishing group handles: the Shareholders Letter/e-letter, the Shareholder Guide, the Activity Report, and financial publicity,
  • the Internet and Toll-Free Number group focuses on the shareholders’ space of the institutional site gdfsuez.com, the shareholders' e-club and the shareholders’ toll-free number,
  • the Events group handles: the Shareholders’ Meeting, the shareholders club program (training courses and conferences), regional shareholder meetings, trade shows, etc.

Latest work in progress

  • Shareholders Letter Number 1 (published in November 2008): analysis and identification of possible improvements.
  • Shareholders space and Advisory Committee section of gdfsuez.com: evaluation.
  • Shareholders club program: discussions and thoughts on possible “premium services.”
