Maintenance Technician
Role
The maintenance technician works on:
- Underground natural gas storage plants
- LNG terminals, facilities where LNG (liquefied natural gas) is unloaded from LNG tankers, regasified and injected into the natural gas transmission system
The maintenance technician is responsible for maintenance, inspection, testing and repair work on these facilities. The role entails defining the work required in the event of an incident and conducting repairs.
Main responsibilities
- Commissioning, maintenance and repair on electrical and mechanical installations: motor compressors, electric compressors, etc.
- Monitoring metering systems on gas apparatus: checking and adjusting sensors, pressure gauges, etc.
- Failure diagnosis and repair
