Mission
The gas facility servicing technician performs maintenance and operation work on underground gas facilities, in buildings or on network accessories. He/she also performs scheduled and on-demand work. Being vigilant with servicing time, he/she minimizes gas cuts for the customer, while complying with safety standards. He/she thus plays a major role in the quality of the customers’ natural gas supply, as well as in the safety of people and property.
Main responsibilities
- Maintenance, checks and upkeep of mid- and low-pressure facilities and equipment.
- Taking part in safety and emergency operations.
- Making diagnoses on the facilities and putting forward solutions.
- Preparing and performing construction work.
- Operations on the network.
- Specialized maintenance work on pressure regulating stations.
